B8_T, vacuum furnace for high-temperature heat treatments
The BMI vacuum furnaces of the B8_T family are designed for the main heat treatments and brazing at high temperature and especially for sensitive quenching treatments thanks to the rotating flow cooling patented by BMI, which provides incomparable quenching uniformity.
These high-pressure furnaces, from 5 to 12 bars, guarantee cooling rates that are compatible with the most demanding applications. These vacuum furnaces can be equipped with the convection technology to reduce the heating time and also to carry out homogeneous low-temperature heat treatments such as vacuum tempering cycles, often complementary to vacuum gas quenching.
As per the selected options, this equipment will be specially adapted for vacuum treatments of steel quenching (without surface oxidation), hyperquenching of stainless steel, bright annealing, ageing, stress relieving, brazing, sintering, special alloys degassing, steel tempering and ALLCARB® low-pressure carburising.
The fully automatic installation enables perfect reproducibility of results.
BMICRO is an economical alternative for the treatment of small loads while VSE8_T will be recommended for large loads.
